Terms & Conditions
General
All participants must be able to swim.
We reserve the right to refuse participation if a person is intoxicated or otherwise unable to participate safely.
By booking a tour, you confirm that you have read and understood these terms.
Participants must dress according to the weather conditions and should assume that they may get wet.
During tours operated by Happy Paddle AS, photos and videos may be taken. These may be used for marketing purposes on our website, social media, and other relevant channels without compensation. If you do not wish to appear in any images, you must inform the guide before the tour starts.
Our packrafts are designed for a maximum load of 200 kg. However, due to often low water levels in the river, we recommend a maximum participant weight of 120 kg for the best experience.
The minimum age is 5 years. Children aged 5 to 10 must share a packraft with an adult. Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Participation is at your own risk due to the nature of the activity. Happy Paddle AS is not liable for injuries, loss or damage, including but not limited to personal injury or damage to personal belongings, unless caused by negligence. We strongly recommend that all participants have appropriate insurance coverage.
Participants are responsible for their personal belongings.
All participants must follow the guide’s safety instructions at all times.
We reserve the right to change these terms.
Participant health
Although our tours are not highly demanding, participants should be in good general physical condition.
Participants are responsible for assessing their own health and ability to take part safely.
Please inform the guide of any medical conditions or physical limitations that may affect your participation.
Tours are adapted to the group, and all participants must follow the pace set by the guide.
